Full Sail University - Production Modeling

This course led me to tackle my concerns about modeling. I was very concerned with it from the get go and I think that's why Week 1 went horribly. I got excited as the month went on and really tried to fit in more details than I should have during the final week. During the last two weeks, we retopologized, UV'd, and made normal maps but these did not come out as desired due to my missing several important steps at the beginning of the model. Even with this happening I feel very good about modeling and my abilities. I plan to revisit this in the coming months with a full render once I touch up my other pieces.

During Week 2, things saw really good progress. Skull maintained a strong focus point for me. Character put into T-pose.

Week 3 saw almost a complete model with fixed leg proportions.

In Week 4, I pushed to re-work the pants and shoes as I hated the low details I had and knew I wanted a different look. This resulted in my losing sight of some of the proportions, most noticeably in the feet.

The skull of the character up close. This was by far my proudest part of it all.

The hands were another favorite mostly because of the progress they had from Week 1.
